Hello everyone,
I want to thank Lee Lu and the team for putting me in the Gazette. It is much appreciated. Here is my story.

I was born in Anchorage, Alaska because my dad was stationed in the Air Force there. We left when I was just a baby and moved back to central Illinois where both my parents were from. My parents had grown up in a small town called LeRoy which had a population of about 600 people. It was like a large extended family because everyone knew each other. My grandparents lived in the same town and so did my great grandparents on my mom's side. My dad and grandfathers and great grandfather built the home that we lived in when we moved back. While it was being built we lived with my grandparents on my dads side. I loved living there. We lived there until I was five, not long after my sister was born. I have just one sister.My dad was transferred so we moved to Milwaukee, WI. I really liked living in Wisconsin. We moved to a town outside of Milwaukee called New Berlin. Had a pretty normal life. Growing up I was somewhat introverted but I always had quite a few friends. I always had good grades and in highschool I was on our first ever girl's cross country track team. The weird thing about it is I was not into running. Someone said they needed more girls for the team and I said, "Sure, why not." Well cross country is hard but I hung in there and I even lettered in the sport which I was really proud of.After highschool I had no idea what I really wanted to do for the rest of my life. I went to a business school and received a degree in Fashion Merchandising but after I graduated I knew that it just was not my thing. My first job was in telemarketing. It was interesting calling all over the country but boy did you have to deal with rejection and a lot of rude people. I did really well though. I was always one of the highest in sales. You know what we had to sell over the phone? Pantyhose!After I had been doing this for about a year my dad was told that he would be transferred to the St. Louis, Missouri area. I had to decide do I want to live with a roommate and get an apartment in Wisconsin or do I want to move with my family. I chose my family which looking back I believe was the best decision. We moved and Iit took a couple of years to really get used to this area but I just love it. My first job was in a bank working in the real estate loan department and then I was an intern as a real estate appraiser and became a licensed real estate appraiser as well as a real estate agent. I really enjoyed it. I love real estate and I did this for 11 years. However, the problem that developed was all of the red tape and hoops that banks made you jump through and that the banks really had no comprehension of appraising and they just wanted you to give them a certain number which did not sit well with my conscience. The firm I worked for closed there doors and I decided I wanted to go into a different profession. During this time I had gotten married and about a year before the company went out of business my husband had commited suicide. I am thankful that at that time I had my faith and my family and friends. It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to go through.I took a totally different career path after this. I had read an ad for a dating service. I thought that sounded fun. I was hired as the manager of the telemarketing department and then became office manager. I worked for a couple of different services. It was really interesting and very rewarding when you could help people to find love. In the few years I was in this industry I even saw some marriages. Well the company that I was with closed there doors. While I had been working I had also started a part time business in network marketing which I am eternally grateful for. I also had met my future husband. He is the wind beneath my wings and he has a heart of gold. I am so lucky. To tell you how we met I had placed an ad in the newspaper in the personals. I met about 75 different men. A lot of guys! All of them were pretty nice but nothing ever clicked. I only went out with a couple of them for more then one date. I can tell you that the only good part of this was that I had lots of free meals:-) Well by doing this I finally met my husband. Persistance definitely does pay off. Don't quit until you reach your goal:-) He said the reason he answered my ad was because I had put in there that I was looking for a gentleman.
When the doors closed at the dating service I decided that I had had enough of working for someone else and that I was going to do network marketing full time. It was a challenge but I am so glad that I took this path. Not only has it made me a better person but it has helped me to live out my passion. My dad passed away from cancer when I was 25. He had never been sick a day in his life and after he was diagnosed he only lived four months. I love people and I care very much about helping others. Thoughout my life the two things that I have seen that have really held people hostage have been the worries about money and about health. My passion is to help as many people as possible to get rid of health problems and financial worries. Every day I wake up and feel like I am one of the luckiest people in the world to be involved with the company that I am involved with and I am so glad that I am able to share this gift with others. I have researched many hundreds of programs over the past 12 years and nothing comes close, not even a close second.

My name is Pauline Raina and I live in Madurai, a small district in the southern state of Tamil nadu…. India. Madurai is famous for the Menasha Temple, which is the largest and oldest (its 3 centuries old) temple, in the whole of South east Asia., Every tourist visiting south India will have Madurai on his/her itinerary.

Being the child of an air force personnel, I got to see many parts of India, that’s why I guess, people n places interest me. Growing up wasn’t easy, and I have been working from a very early age due to a lot of unavoidable circumstances. But I’m a person who looks at the past, learns the lessons it taught, and sees how best to use it to improve ones future, this has helped me to grow !

With my 2 sons grown up, I found I had much time on my hands to do all the things I’ve always wanted to do. The one thing I did first was to go back to College ! I am in my 2nd year of my Bachelors degree in English and Communications through distant education.
I have a diploma in Fashion Designing, and run my own tailoring store with 15 employees, this I’ve been doing for the past 17 yrs, and I thoroughly enjoy what I do.

About my E-Biz; I am presently with Prowealth Solutions, and the $7 Miracle, and looking forward to the Launch of DUBLI. I’ve made my mistakes, for one I’m not a pro !! I believe that failure is the stepping stone to success, and so I continue to perservere.

Having appeared in over 15 motion picture projects, my acting debut came in the 1970s and the highly acclaimed feature film - BLACK MARBLE - whereI portrayed a disgruntled Police Detective opposite lead actor, Robert Foxsworth. The production, AMERICA -THON, cast me as an FBI Agent playing opposite actors Michael Mislove and John Ritter. John was a super guy and very kind to me. He is certainly missed by all whose lives he touched. In the Canadian Film Production, HIGH POINT,I portrayed a Mafia Hitman. As a trained and qualified Stunt Driver, I had great fun kidnapping the character portrayed by lead actor, Richard Harris. Presently, I'm producing & hosting THE GREAT AMERICAN MUSIC MACHINE, over Baltimores Internet Radio TGAMM-FM. My name is Leslie Combs and I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
For Wayne is the second largest city in Indiana about 120 miles northeast of Indianapolis.

I was raised in Indianapolis and graduated from North Central High School in 1969. I then went to Columbia College in Colubmia, MO and received an Associate of Arts Degree in Business.

After college I moved back to Indianapolis and worked in an industrial clinic as a receptionist/secretary for about 3 years.

One of of the doctors at the clinic was planning on moving to Ft Wayne to open a practice and asked me to relocate with him which was 31 years ago. I love the town and the people and have made it my home. After a very rough first marriage, I married Charles Combs in 2004 and inherited 5 children and 4 grandchildren. What a challenge that has been. Chuck was an over the road trucker for over 20 years and is now in real estate. Myself, I have worked in healthcare and insurance most of my working career and started to work online about 3 years ago. I have been and still consider myself a "newbie", probably because I must admit that I did the worst thing possible and jumped into computers head first without much knowledge and have tried to teach myself along the way. Hi Ya’ll, (that’s southern for hello everyone)
Wow, what an honor to be chosen to do my bio for you all. I really appreciate this opportunity. Wow, I don’t know where to start or how much in-depth I should go? I probably will bore you with my really dull lifestyle. I haven’t been to any really exotic places like some you. Or traveled the world or even the states that much. I general like to stay low key. Crowds turn me off. That’s why I like to hide here behind my computer. Well I’ll give it a try.

My name is Herb Gruenewald, (Gruenewald means green wood, woods or forest in german. I hear that there actually is a forest maybe a park by now, in Germany called “Gruenewalde”) I was born in Detroit “City” on Smart Street, (Now I’m not bragging to say I’m smart), Smart was the name of the builder that owned the property and built the homes. Attended kindergarten at Priest School (no I wasn’t going to study to be a priest, that was the name of the public school) Later I went to Gethsemane Lutheran fo eight years of study and then to Chadsey High.

Growing up with my four siblings was a lot of fun. There were my two brothers, Harvey and Gordon, and my two sisters, Lucille and Marge. The only ones left of our tribe are Marge and myself. My dad, Herb Sr, died when I was fifteen, Marge was seventeen and Gordon ten. Lucille and Harvey were my half brother and sister from my father’s first wife who had died giving birth to another half- sister to be, Ruth, who died with her mother. My mother Helen died in 1961, just before my ex-wife Beverly, gave birth to my youngest, Rob. My two daughters were born Lynn in ’56 and Kim in ‘58. The three of them have given me eight wonderful grand kids. Sadly, my ex and I divorced in 1979 and I was a wild bachelor for seventeen years romping around town with my brother Gordon, (also divorced), for the first eight years when he passed at age forty-seven. We were really close and I miss him very much to this day.

Worked in sales for over forty years, selling retail hardware and then wholesale plumbing , roofing and other building materials. I believe I was born again as I asked the Lord for forgiveness and decided then and there that would go and do whatever and wherever He would lead me. Broke my left leg while hanging a sign for vacation bible school at church just two weeks after I was appointed property chairman, (fancy for janitor), and was laid up for over a year. During this time I spent a lot time reading the Bible and learning to appreciate me and to really find myself.
Met my present wife, Pauline of all places at the Bootlegger Bar and Grill. She was a very classy looking lady. My friend and I had stopped for picture of beer, it was a kind of slow night and wasn’t very many in the bar and Jon and I was sitting at the bar when Pauline walked in by herself. Me being a shy guy would have just sat there, but Jon went up to her and asked if she like to meet his friend, me, and share our pitcher. She came over and we talked and we talked, and I followed her home. We sat in the car for three hours just talking, we had so much in common. We dated for five years and then married on June 30th 2001. Pauline, being an ex-RN is very caring person, just like Florence Nightingale, a real angel from God.
Just last week she took an overnight assignment to watch over an eighty year, eighty pound old man on oxygen with variety of illnesses. She is the one that convinced me to take a job with MTA in Flint. This turned out to be a very interesting experience, as I meet a lot of different people from all walks of life and able to assist them in transport them to their various destinations with-in the county. Elderly to their doctors and dialysis, physically , visually and mentally challenged individuals to their day-care programs, children including little four year-olds to and from school. After awhile it was like family seeing the same faces on nearly a daily basis.

Starting dabbling with the internet about nine years ago. My first website was Ramp Solutions of Michigan selling pickup truck ramps of various types. I held a sixth place position on the search engines and business was great, I was shipping the Gatorramp all over the country. But I have to take down my site because of legal problems. I still have a few in my garage if anyone is interested. I then started emallconnector.com which later became shoppingamerica.us. Although I sold quite a few products including SelectComfort beds, satellelite dishes, camping equipment, shoes, textiles and clothing I was never able to get a good ranking again. Since then I became involved in website promotion and advertising, this seems to be what everyone is looking for today. Everyone needs a good source of quality targeted leads and help in gaining success in their own businesses.
Joined the AdlandPro Community back in 2004 but at the time I was so involved with other programs that I didn’t take the time to properly research all the great features, it seemed so complicated and I just didn‘t have the time. Now that I’m retired at the end of last year and doing this full-time, I realize what an awesome program this really is, And by getting more involved I have met some very beautiful people around the world. Wow! Is that awesome or what!!

North Carolina.

Growing up poor in North Carolina
I was born in Ridgeway, North Carolina on a small farm. We lived in a large 13 room house that was elegant in my grandfathers day. It was magnificent and stood in full view of the towns only African American Baptist church. All of our school associates thought we had money. My father was the youngest of six children and was spoiled rotten by his mother. The house just looked good on the outside. Grandpa died before he was able to finish the construction.

My mother became pregnant at 14 and her mother basically insisted on a shotgun wedding. Grandma thought my father was a rare catch because of his fathers reputation and wealth.

My father was very fertile, but a poor provider. I was born the first girl after 5 brothers, 7 more children came after me. Times were hard and there was never enough of anything to go around. We basically served as my fathers free farm hands.

My brother Joe fancied himself a school teacher. Discarded student desks lined our large long hallway where he held reading and math classes. He never spared the rod if we were difficult students. I didnt like the rod so I was never difficult. In the beginning, he taught us from the Bible. The stories were very engaging. Joe was a great natural teacher and very dramatic in his illustrations. He also had a photographic memory.

Joe taught me to read long before I ever entered our one room school house. In third grade I was already reading Charles Dickens and getting boxed on the ears for taking my older brothers textbooks. Reading taught me that there were others like me and that there was a better world outside the walls of my home.

Time was spent reading, writing poetry, short stories, drawing and avoiding confrontations with my siblings. They seemed always angry because I showed no interest in making the basketball or baseball teams even.

At 13, while my Mother was bedridden, my father beat me so badly that I crawled through a foot of snow in order to report him to the authorities. He spent almost two years in prison. As he was being dragged from the courtroom, he promised to kill my Mother and me. When the sheriff notified us that he was coming home, I was terrified. Everyone tried to convince me that he would never hurt me, but I knew him better. He had already hurt me and I had watched him hurt my Mother.

The Migration North
I left my Mom standing on the church steps in her white ushers uniform when I was sixteen. I had only a shopping bag with two pairs of underwear, a slip and 20 comic books when my Grandmother and I boarded the Eastern Seaboard train headed for New Jersey.

In November of that same year my father shot my brother Joe in the head while he was holding our youngest sisters hand. As a result, Joe suffered severe brain damage and was never able to use all of those innate teaching abilities. My sister, Patricia was only 3. Who knows how different her life had she not been covered in my brothers blood that day. Southern justice is a marvel. They released my father from custody after my brother stated in court, If my father can live with what he did to me, then I can live with it.

I moved with my Grandmother to Englewood, New Jersey where I graduated from high school. I married young and separated after a month. I was on welfare for seven years. I made very effective use of the states money as I endured caseworkers peering under my bed and inside my closet. They didnt believe that I was making it on the pittance from the state. I had a lot of experience being poor. I knew how to survive.

Sisters were never denied refuge as they separated themselves from the southern farm life. Three of my sisters came to live with me as they graduated from high school. They were aided in finding jobs so they could make lives for themselves.

Education
The time spent on public assistance was used to improve myself. I entered college and graduated with honors and a BA in English Education. Teachers pay was so low that I turned down employment in Teaneck in 1975. I returned to school to earn my MA in Theatre Arts. While in graduate school, I created and directed a theatre group. We performed in all types of community programs and prisons throughout the state. I earned my MA in 1977.

A two act tragic play based on my family life was produced Off-Off Broadway in 1979. It was very well received. The producers wanted to take an option on it only if I agreed to add more songs making it a musical comedy. They also wanted Dan Lauria of Wonders Years fame to rewrite it. Frankly, I thought Dan was a fine actor, but he had no talent for writing dialogue. My story was not a comedy, so I declined.

November of 1979, I returned to the Teaneck school system and they hired me as Arts Educational Consultant for the Arts Magnet School.

I taught the Literary Arts, Dance and Drama in the Teaneck, New Jersey public school system for 27 years. I designed one of the first Dance Studios and public school dance programs in the state of New Jersey. The program was used as a model when the Teaneck Arts Academy was formed. Administration of this popular program became my responsibility. This duty was added to that of head Dance Teacher (required to produce dance concerts and specials throughout the school year), Instructional Leader of the Fine & Performing Arts Department and Coordinator of the Center for Multicultural Studies.

June of 2005, it became obvious that the school system had no concept of enough in terms of assignments. They added another class to my already heavy load. I resigned all of my positions and began to prepare myself for retirement. At 54, it was one year too young. When I left the high school they divided my responsibilities among four people.

In the middle school I discovered that the federal No Child Left Behind Bill has changed the face of education forever. Children are being returned to the public school system who are autistic, wheelchair bound, deaf, mute, emotionally disturbed, socially maladjusted and medicated. These children were in my classes. I was told that I did not need any special training. My job was to teach them writing so they that they might pass the required GEPA state tests. Well, as quiet as it is kept, one must read before one writes.

My heart was breaking every day as I tried to motivate and teach 7th and 8th graders who cannot read and who have the same problems as I did when I was that age. The stress tripled because I was actually trying to do the job. The students loved me and more signed into my classes than I could handle. They all wanted my undivided one on one attention and they all needed it.

By the end of October of 2005, I became so seriously ill that I was forced to go out on disability. I retired June 1, 2006. I am recuperating.

Muriel
In the last 8 months I have been seen by more doctors and undergone more tests than in my entire life. I was literally terrified. I lost a younger sister to a similar set of circumstances in Sept. of 2002. She became ill suddenly in April of 98 and by June of 98 she could not eat, drink, walk, talk or communicate. She was fed through a belly peg for two years. During her illness she was in over 15 different hospitals. They even lost her 6 hours once as they were transferring her from one to another. At the end of the third year one doctor finally had the nerve to document that she had the West Nile virus. This illness was further complicated by severe head trauma caused by repeated domestic violence perpetrated upon her by her younger childrens father. After 4 long years as a drooling catatonic barely able to even acknowledge her beautiful children she passed away in a nursing home.

I adopted her two younger children and tried to support the oldest who blamed himself for his Mothers illness. He witnessed most of the abuse and was too young to do anything. After my sisters death, the children all became major discipline problems.

Survival
A great sacrifice was made when my niece was sent to the Grier School in Tyrone, PA. The cost per year is that of a college, but it has saved the childs life. She is now a well mannered young lady who has maintained an A average every term. Because of my present circumstances and her excellent deportment and grades she has been awarded a full scholarship for her senior year. Her brother graduated in June. He will enter the Police Academy in the fall.

It is 4 years now since Muriels death and her eldest son has disappeared. We have contacted the police and the FBI. He is officially listed as a missing person. We are all praying, but the trail is now very cold. It has been so long since anyone has heard from him.

The Long Road Back
In spite of all the hardships, a basically dysfunctional family has hung together and supported each other in times of adversity. After all the strife between me and my Father I was the one who ended up caring for him the last days of his life.

During the course of my illness I never noticed that my daughter was pregnant again. (Go Figure) She was 7 months before she unveiled her large belly. She said she was waiting for me to get better. Avalon was born august 1, 2006 while I was in St. Martin trying to treat myself like royalty. Paris, the nine year old thoroughly enjoys taking care of her baby sister.

I have decided to try my hand at making money on the Internet. I am currently conducting a massive campaign to discover what people who work from home actually do. I have discovered that most of the advertised jobs and opportunities are a lot of crap. Some offers border on false advertising. The words FREE and BENEFITS have taken on new meaning.

I am happy that I found AdlandPro.com, because I was frankly sick and tired of people trying to sell me on pie in the sky schemes. I want to control my on time and my own life. I want to spend more time with my grandchildren and my family. It has been refreshing communicating with people who are already working in the field.

It is funny. They say you need to do what you love. It took me a while to get back around to that.

I started using the internet several years ago in an attempt to get my artwork seen. I talked to someone locally about helping me put up a website. I was such a novice that I had to buy a "For Dummy's" book to answer his questions. By the time I finished reading the book I could put up a site using Netscape. Nothing like I might do today but we did not have the same tools available.

Trying to get traffic to my site, I got sidetracked. I never sold anything on the net. I did not get much recognition. I got into several MLM things. I make a little, nothing to write home about.

I then contracted a virus that paralized me and put me in the hospital for two months. When I came out I had ten months of recovery. Lots of time, but everything I had worked on to create an income had vanished. I needed to start over. I really did not feel like putting my heart into it.

About a year ago I decided I should get serious about doing something on line again. I took another wrong turn and started surfing for cash. I still do some of that but do not expect to pay the rent with it. I get some advertising that way and if I make a little money it is a plus.

Currently I am interested in programs that help others learn to avoid pitfalls and market successfully.

I have lived in Crewe Cheshire UK since 2000 the home of Bentley Motor Cars. I left school to start work as a bound apprentice joiner in 1963 until I joined the british army in 1966 to train as a tank driver and then saw service in Cyprus, Germany, North Africa and the UK. Since then I have had a varied career but mainly in sales, I have sold carpets, showers, double glazing, textured coatings, and other things as well.

I got divorced in 2002 and married Barbara my second wife in August 2004, between us we have seven children my two daughters are Joanne 34 and Jennifer 27 they both live in Mansfield Nottinghamshire UK. Hi all! I am Melissa Fulwider. I have been a member of the Adland Community since October of 2005 and really love it here. I run a freelance writing and design business from home and work as a tax professional. I am a featured writer on OcalaCafé.com, have the firsand will also t article of my “Toddler Land” essays published by Mom Writers Literary Magazine in September 2006. I have several projects underway at the moment, including a work of fiction that I hope to have out to the public by the summer of 2007.

As webmaster for both TheWriteTimes.com and for a church client – Oxford Assembly of God I get to stretch my design muscles a bit. I maintain two personal blogs (http://spaces.msn.com/thewritetimes/PersonalSpace.aspx & http://thewritetimes.blogspot.com/) where you will find political ranting, economic insight, and parental venting. I am currently making several lifestyle changes (weight loss, smoking cessation, dietary changes, etc.) which will be posted on a third blog coming in October of this year. Also, I am working on a Tax Guide for Sole Proprietors (U.S.) that should be done by Spring 2007.

I am married with two toddlers (which makes for great blog fodder). Being in my early thirties, I am re-designing my life around kids, chaos, and minor catastrophes. A loving and supportive husband rounds out the mix here in what we call “Toddler Land”. I absorb trivia, enjoy contemporary and classical music of all kinds, and am a tenacious Tetris player. We live in Central Florida, on the eastern coast of the United States where the tropical climate and array of cultures makes me feel at home.

It seemed a natural progression to be interviewing community members for The Adland Interviews series. I have so enjoyed my time here at Adland that I wanted everyone to have the chance to meet some of the wonderful people here. This community is highly energetic and very global, so I have my pick, so to speak, of interesting stories and human experiences to write about.

Writing has been a major part of my life since grade school. It is bread, butter, therapist, exorcist, and entertainer for me so there is nothing I would rather be doing than this right here!

My Family life

Early life

I was born in Bromley, Kent, UK. I lived in the borough of Lewisham, London, until the age of 13. Then my dad retired so we all moved to a tiny village in the hart of Berkshire, called Charvill. I loved it there, but sadly Mum & Dad decided 2 years later, that it would be hard for my sister and I to get jobs, so all of us moved back to London.

Experiences, Training so far

I have always wanted to work with fabrics; I applied and was accepted onto a Degree Course at university studying BA textiles. But I also wanted to buy a house with my boyfriend / (later husband.) So I dropped out of school and found a job in the local curtain & soft furnishings shop. Regretted it ever since.
25 years and 3 marriages later…..
I Have mainly worked as self employed Freelance Soft Furnisher and Design Consultant from home, But have supplemented my income in; The Fur Trade as a machinist, sales, selling Vorwork vacuum cleaners, Waitress, Barmaid, Sample machinist in clothing factory, Shop sales, Amway, Avon, Kleen-easy, (all through party or door to door) Also Modelling clothing for camera clubs and catalogue,

Today

I lead a very busy life these days, I have two boys Connor aged 13, David aged 18. My partner John and I met nearly 4 years ago, now I can truly say that I have met my sole mate. John has been a tower of strength to me; we met just months before my Mum died of Cancer. John was there for me and has been everyday through ups and downs.
We took on Newsagents as management for just over a year. But sadly we found out that the company was not the best to work for, so decided to leave. After that we both decided to further our ambitions to return to education, in the quest for a more fulfilling life together.
John is training as a Councillor Currently At university Studying BSC in Physiology.
I on the other hand have just completed 2 years at BTEC level in Art and Design and also ‘A’ Level Fine Art. I am starting University in September working towards BA Applied & Decorative Arts.

I am registered disabled; I have spinabiffida, arthritis, and celiac disease. As a result of this and the fact that I suffered abuse as a child I have suffered bouts of deep depression. To combat this I have thrown myself into working to build a better life for my self and my family.

I would like to thank Lisa for recognizing me for this weeks Gazette. It was a welcome surprise!

For those of you that don't know me, My name is Angela Cardwell. I am a 39 year old Wife and Mother of 3 children- Benjamin, age 15, Sara, age 13 and Joshua, age 8.
My Parents, Edwin and Rev. Linda Roach were born and raised in Upstate South Carolina. My dad enlisted in the Navy in 1958. My older sister, Regina Katie was born in Greenwood, South Carolina, December '63. My twin brother, Edwin Franklin (Jr.) and myself, Angela Mae were born in Seattle, Washington, November '66. From there we moved to Norfolk, Va. where we lived until my dad retired from the Navy in 1976. Then it was home to South Carolina to build a house on property given to my mother by her dad, Frank Simpson.
I attended Ware Shoals Schools from the 3rd grade through the 12th. I graduated and worked as a nursing assistant for the Health Department, caring for elderly and handicapped persons in their homes. This rewarding job dissipated after two years due to Medicare cutbacks. What followed were several years of menial jobs. I decided to go back to school. I attended Lander University, majoring in early childhood education. I was unable to finish my degree, but ended my college career after three years. However, the wealth of knowledge in Psychology and Sociology has helped me to overcome many obstacles in life.
My latest J O B was at a local lumber yard here in Ware Shoals. For 3 years I managed shipping of lumber into and out of the yard. Winter was cold and wet. Summer was hot and dusty. Other than the elements, I loved the job! With the experience in pshychology I was able to handle the rudest, most cantankerous employee or truck driver! (lol!)
Moving on to my Internet Career......Christmas of 2002.....
my husband, Randy, gave me a used computer. Now, in my years in school we did not have the use of computers. This was my first experience with one. I struggled for 3 months just trying to figure out how the blasted thing worked! But I was determined. I knew there was money to be made on the Net. Well, I attended one of those Offline Conferences that tell you they can sell you a website and show you how to make money on the Internet. (Now I know, "yeah, right"!)
Anyway, to make a long story short, I purchased the website, Signed the contract, and obtained my first Internet connection. I poured myself into that site. It's still online even though I have since abandoned it.EveryonesGiftHouse.com The site is sorely outdated, not SE friendly and definitely not user friendly. The only thing that I can change is the content on the home page and I can add link pages.
Upon meeting my great friend and mentor, Ray Fearnly of the UK, also known as Rayzee, I learned what I needed to know about the site and it's in-capabilities. One thing I did learn while working with the site is a little html. So, I set off to learn more about SE Optimization, basic html and affiliate marketing. Then came OakleyInternational.com On this site I merely posted everything I learned that Ray approved to be the "truth" on the internet. I also began working on moving my gift site. The new pages are SE and user friendly, afford Adsense and further my affiliate revenue. Gifts at Oakley It worked!
Next was BestBuys4Insurance.info, more Adsense and more affiliate revenue. They are not the prettiest of sites. But they are SE and user friendly and they bring in much needed revenue to keep my online endeavors in forward motion! For 3 years I worked forty hours at my day job, and more than sixty additional hours on the Internet. Literally studying and Learning everything I could. During that time I was also interested in residual income through multi-level marketing. I tried several companies only to bomb out and waste money because I would be recruited, sign up and "lose" my upline support! You know how that goes. It's what gives companies a bad name....Then I found VMdirect and Helloworld.
The same thing happened! I couldn't get in touch with my sponsor. But I knew I had in my hands a great opportunity. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to share my story with you.

Network Marketing is a great industry because I can create my life and income the way I want it to be. The education in Network Marketing has been great. There are so many things that I have learned that have opened myeyes to what I can do with my life. I am growing personally every day. The people that I have met in Network Marketing have become wonderful friends.I have met people from several countries and almost every state. People inthis industry are willing to help each other.

One of my "favorite helpful people" is Cheryl Baxter. I met Cheryl in California a few years back and she has kept in touch with me. Cheryl introduced me to MonaVie and it has changed my life.

It was 6am on a very warm, dusty day on August 5,1947 in Troy, New York. The old alarm clock started the day. My Mom started to get up to put the coffee on the stove to boil. She never made it to the kitchen that morning. I had decided that this would be my birthday, and I was on my way into this world. My Dad ran to get the Doctor. When they got back my Mom and I were waiting to introduce me to my Dad
It was a wonderful neighborhood to grow up in. Everybody was included in everything. A huge dinner party could be started by someone saying "I made soup. Come, and bring some bread." If a kid was bad, every mother in the neighborhood had a punishment waiting. Most of the time though, it was wonderful just to be alive. There was no class, or race, or anyone different. It was just one big happy family.
My baby sister was born almost as quickly on December 12, 1951. By then my dad was making $65.00 a week and we thought we were doing great. Just before my 15th. birthday, we lost my Mom and my Dad had to step up to finish raising his girls. He did it without ever once complaining, or asking for help.
I went on to be the first one in our family to graduate from Troy High School, and took some courses in business and accounting. We lost my Dad when I was 27. I worked for 15 years as a clerk for the Albany County Board Of Elections. I met the "soon to be best friend" a girl could have and soon to be the love of my life in March of 1983. We later hit the road with a wonderful candy contract, and did auctions up and down the whole east coast.
About 6 years ago I won an old 3.1 computer in a $5.00 raffle at an auction in Aiken, Ga. We hauled it home and I learned the basics. That poor thing couldn't even get on the internet. We had been doing some MLM programs and wanted to try eBay so we bought our first computer. That started a whole new phase in my life. Soon, I was either Manager or Co-manager of no less then 11 Msn groups at a time; building sites, learning graphic programs, and advertising my MLM projects on the net.
On July 6, 2005 I came to AdlandPro to post an ad for Gano Excel. I started reading. I read some more, and I read some more. Well, my Gano Excel Ad never did do well, although the products are wonderful and I am still a rep. for them. Something else happened that changed the course of my path in August. Greer Trombly was forming G Team and asked if I would do a little work with them. Well, I did and met Kenneth Sword who became a good friend and teacher.
Kenneth is "The Blog Guy" here now, and the CEO of www.bizzyblogz.com. We did a few things together and when BizzyBlogz started, of course I had to learn to blog. I got BBF. I know it sounds awful, but it is BizzyBlogz Fever. Kenneth taught me until now I have four blogs that are doing very well, and I can teach and answer questions for other members. Now, how cool is that!

Hello My Friends!

Last month was both terrible and wonderful. Terrible because I got thousands of emails I had to answer. Wonderful therefore many new things happened to me. PowerMember, POTW. Spotlight here spotlight there. All my friends came to meet me and congratulate me in these features. Congratulate me for a work they were supporting me to gain. It was very hard for me to find appropriate answers to thank you my friends. I have hundreds of legends to post. It may be heavy for you. Poems and lyrics was one of the ways, topics with Zodiac signs and legends the second. Now I don’t know what I will find out. Anyhow, I feel like a Greek hero ready to be raised to heaven. Zeus may find a new constellation for me. I can send you side-glances from the stars inviting you to join me.

I always tried to be honest with people. If I don’t know a program or if something is wrong I do not recommend it to others. I will give you an example what I did with ProBuilerPlus. Early before launching date I joined that program and very soon I was there with 46 referred members in my 1st level (9 paid) down-line and 75 members in my second (15 paid). Unlike many Adlandpro folk I am not a full time "work from home" network worker due to my full time commitment to the ambulance service. I work long 10 hour shifts around the clock in a very busy emergency control room which is both demanding and quite stressful. As I have been extremely busy with my company, I would like to share my Bio from the time I was honored, for person of the week in Adland.
I am the youngest of ten children being a twin of a sister, who is two hrs older than I, there was seven girls and three boys, aging a 18yr gap between my oldest sibling.
We were all Born in a country town in Grafton NSW Australia, when I was four, my parents Reg and Nadia decided it would be best for the family to move to a City so us children could achieve better opportunities in the way of work and schooling.
My father was a meat inspector and my mother stayed home and looked after the home and family, with the help of my older brother and sisters.I have eighteen nieces and nephews and seven Great nieces and nephews!
My twin Tina and I grew up and went to school in Brisbane, I left school in year ten and took on a Hairdressing apprenticeship, I did hairdressing for fourteen yrs at which I did not really enjoy doing, I believe I did hairdressing for my mother, as I did not relise this back then, I chose to please her without really knowing what I felt, I wanted to do, I was just sixteen yrs old.
When I was 20yrs I met my first love, and he and I got married when I was twenty four, we were very happy and I enjoyed having and running my home, we both worked and he was wonderful to live with, we shared everything and enjoyed our time together!
He use to sing me love songs and we would always leave little notes of love or thankyou's in hidy holes around the house or under each others pillow's, we would always entertain ourselves with silly funny games, we could talk to each other about anything at all and it was not unusual for us to yatter away until Sunrise...Yes, we did do this for three and a half yrs, I will always remember my first love!
My Husband died tragically on his own, coming home from his sister's house where he had just popped in to say hello, coming back home he somehow crashed into a Hugh fork tree, outside a crematorium near our home.He died from severe head injuries and there had been no traces of alcohol, not even any tire skid marks to be seen! Its was a mystery!
I decided after a short while to pack up and move to the Gold Coast an hour south of Brisbane to live with one of my older sister's for awhile.I soon started a new life and met new friends and in time became happy again, it was quiet different to my past life, I was totally single and just danced the nights away...LOL
After three yrs went by I met a guy who was on holidays on the Gold coast from Sydney NSW about a twelve hour drive away.I had never been to Sydney so my girlfriend and I packed up and decided to go down and live for about six mths.We shared a Unit and found work within a week of arriving in a restaurant on the harbor in the city of Sydney, we were both doing waitoring.
The guy I met back home who was on holidays his name was Ray and he was ten yrs younger than me, at the beginning I did not know this and was quiet surprised as time went on, when he shared with me his real age.We were together for two yrs and we decided to mutually separate, and remained friends.
My girlfriend went back to the Gold Coast and I remained in Sydney, as I had a good job and I joined a sports club and played Women's Rugby League for three yrs, I enjoyed this sport and played quiet well for a little Hooker who copped a beating in the scrum...LOL We end up representing Australia and use to play games before the big boys around OZ.
In 1994 I finished playing League and met a man who I had a long term relationship with and who is the father of my Beautiful son, Joshua!We ended our relationship mutually again...I have been lucky..LOL when I was seven months pregnant.I decided to go back home to the Gold coast and live and to bring Joshua up on my own, with some financial support from his father each week!
When Joshua was three yrs old I decided to move to the Sunshine Coast an hour north of Brisbane, it was much less quieter, the Gold coast is a beautiful place, it has grown a great deal very much like Hawaii I have been told, a real tourist destination.
We lived in a beach side suburb called Buddina and within walking distance to the beach, we were quiet happy and everything was so central for me.After two and a half years..LOL..yes, we moved again, for a change from the beach to the Country, we moved to the Sunshine coast Hinterland a small town called "Beerwah" where the great silly "Steve Irwin" lives and has his Australia Zoo, we are about five mins down the road from him and his Crocodiles! "The Aussie Crocodile Dundee" A real Tourist attraction, its a great zoo, he has done very very well!
We have been in Beerwah now for 12mths and are very happy, we are surrounded by what we call the Glasshouse mountains and are only twenty five mins away from the Beach, I suppose you could say, we have the best of both worlds, We are Blessed!
I hope you have enjoyed my short life story, and if you have not been Nominated yet, we will have to do something about this, cos, I wont you to experience this Joy and meet lots of wonderful friends along the way!

Jill Bachman Somthing Big is Happening

My name is Jill Bachman. My wonderful husband, Cal, is also here on Adlandpro. We have 3 grown children, and 3 loving grandchildren :-)
I am a full-time passionate Internet marketer with a HUGE goal to have our entire family follow in our footsteps!
I was born in Pittsfield, MA to a mother raised in Boston, and a father raised in New York. My maternal grandmother never got used to that idea that my mother did not marry a Bostonian, so my parents conveniently packed up and moved to California when I was all of 6 months old. So, technically I am a Yankee-Californian :-) Although I still live in California, my heart loves the East Coast and all the incredible history.
I lived in the Oakland, CA hills through grammer school, and loved it! We were 1000 feet in elevation with a great view of the golden gate bridge The best part was being a kid in the hills with my friends. Our favorite sport was sliding down hillsides with cardboard boxes on pineneedles. And, you knew you won when you landed head first in poison oak, so you wouldn't have to go to school for a week because your eyes were swollen shut. My mother grew to love me more each day!
When I was 11, my parents divorced, and my mother and I moved inland to Walnut Creek where it was relatively flat with no pineneedles. I had to leave my tomboy habits behind. Darn! After high school, a year later I moved north to a small town called Chico to attend CSUC. It is a great town... essentially built around the University and agriculture - walnuts & almonds. It is bordered by the Sacamento River on the west, and at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains on the East.
I met my husband, Cal, at CSUC, and we were married a year later. He graduated in civil engineering, and then he was activated to duty in the Air Force shortly thereafter. Once he returned home, he went to work building the Oroville Dam. Then we started our family. When the kids were little we moved to a ranchette in the country, and raised every 4-H animal known to man including ponies & horses, etc. The tomboy was back in me again, and those were great times. I had as much fun as the kids. :-)
Cal then started his own engineering business when the Oroville Dam project was completed. We started out with our office in our home. With 3 children, that was a mistake! It was not uncommon to find kids coloring on engineering plans each morning. That was short lived, so the office moved to town.
From that time on, I split my time between home and the downtown office. I became the Office Manager, otherwise known by many close friends as the "Queen of Problem Solving." It was a great business, except for learning how to cope with bureaucracies and politics, that was for sure.

In the late 80's......it was time for COMPUTERIZATION!? I was adamently opposed to computerization, because I knew it was going to put the entire world out of business. (Funny how that has changed for alot of us :-) Then an amazing thing happened! I spent a week's vacation on a Yankee Schooner cruise off the coast of Maine, and had the absolute time of my life.....except for a "computer guru" shipmate who drove me crazy.....who by the end of the cruise, had me so excited to jump into computerization, I could hardly wait to get home. Strange, but true. Nobody was ready for the change in me, that's for sure! :-)
So, I spent a year implementing word processing, data base management, spreadsheets and all the boring stuff......and I felt pretty darned proud of myself!
Then, the 90's hit, and I found the Internet! Now the VISION was born! Well, almost! My journey led me to eat alot of humble pie first! I had this nagging fear of logging in.....! So, I just read about the Internet instead! I remember thinking a big black monster would bite me in that huge unknown black ocean, but I was still determined! So, I set out to master email! Now, you aren't going to believe this, but I was so scared of logging in, my business partners had to FAX me my emails! Yes, it is true! Yes, I am humble, and I still hold my sides laughing when I think about it.! Finally, my son tied me to the computer and made me take the leap. So, from total ignorance to addiction, here I am today, and I love it!
Once the vision of the Internet really sank in, I was off to higher places :-) We started our first network marketing business in the mid 90's, and finally closed our engineering business in 2000, and we haven't looked back since. We actually moved to a high mountain location on a lake to prove we could work anywhere!. It was the greatest feeling of freedom we have ever experienced, and we would still be there today if it weren't for the winter snows. We were at 4500 feet elevation, and trust me, when I say snow.........deep snow! So we wimped out and moved back to the valley!

It is so fantastic to be in the spotlight here at Adland,amongst all my dear friends,never met any of them but they are another family to me.
I live in Lerwick,the main town on the Shetland Islands which lie around 100 miles off the North coast of Scotland,population 23,000 on about 30 inhabited islands.
I live here with my wife,Shirley and our 4 Yorkshire terriers.
At the moment I am studying for my National Certificate in IT,I will be finished this in the summer.
I love being with my family,I love the sea,boats,fishing,and I know this will sound funny but,the weather has always intrigued me.
From the age of 13 years I have been interested in deep sea fishing and boats and the weather,I love a very stormy day,and we get a lot of stormy days here in Shetland,believe me.
Anyway,I left the fishing in 2000 to start an onshore job,then in 2005 decided,(with a little help from my dear wife Shirley)that computing and IT was the way forward,so I started my course.
This has now become my sole purpose in life,to become a top computing consultant,and make enough money so that my wife can stop working and put her feet up,as she is really quite ill.

Thank you so much for the honor you all have given me by giving me this feature in the new Business Gazette. I am doubly honored to have such good friends.

The business I have chosen to present is called Greenzap. There's a lot of controversy about this company, but I've done a lot of research on them, and have chosen to make it my main business focus at this time.

GreenZap, in case you do not already know, is a new, very different payment processor who is up front and clear that they're going head to head with Paypal, the world's largest and oldest online payment processor. The difference with Greenzap is first of all that they're targeting the younger generation and the “young-at-heart.” While everyone else is raving on and on about the HUGE baby boomer market, Greenzap's promoters realize that the baby boomer market is naturally getting smaller, while the number of new and younger people logging on to the internet is increasing exponentially.

GreenZap's site is NOT boring – it's cool! They use terms like, “Tap the Zap, zap some cash, storez, rewardz, auctionz, Greenzap – it's zappening!” Their policy, which, if you remember, Westjet has used VERY successfully, is to have fun, be fun, and make sure their clients and staff have fun, too. This makes them an upbeat, positive company with tremendous employee loyalty and enthusiasm. In today's market, that spellz success! (Yeah – ok – I'm into the “z” thing, too!)

You may find it somewhat odd that I would post so much of the negative information out there about the business I am most involved with, but as you read the article, you'll begin to understand why I would do this.

Since their inception, there have been hundreds of negative posts about them and one website dedicated to there demise called GreenZapScam.

I have not been able to find one shred of evidence to back up all the negative posts. Somebody or some people simply want to kill GreenZap and they've worked hard to do it right from before they launched.

I've tried to track down the proof of wrongdoing on both GreenZap AND on Damon Westmoreland with no success. I've asked all over for SOMEBODY to offer me SOMETHING to back up all the accusations. So far, nobody on ANY post or website ANYWHERE has been able to do ANYTHING but badmouth GreenZap and Damon Westmoreland. If, as I'm really beginning to supect, there's no substance to any of the accusations, then this has been a KING-SIZED smear campaign.

The BIG QUESTION is, who stands to gain the most if GreenZap goes down?

Further, note that an unsatisfactory rating from the BBB is not a conviction, but a warning. If the BBB receives enough complaints about a company, they will give it an unsatisfactory rating until everything is dealt with and enough time has passed without more complaints. The complaints DO NOT have to be legitimate.

The BBB is not a government or law enforcement agency; they are a FOR PROFIT MEMBERSHIP-BASED COMPANY. To become a member of the BBB, you must buy a membership. They actively market these memberships just like any other business.

Posting accusations and rumors is NOT what doing due diligence is all about. Due diligence is about finding FACTS and weighing risk.

I have read through so many forums and websites bashing GreenZap that it made my eyes glaze! The common factor among virtually ALL of these sites is the complete lack of substantiation. Go to Google and do a search for 'greenzap scam' and see what you get. Also try 'greenzap scam fraud.' You will find a HUGE amount of negative information, but what you will not find is the proof. If you DO, let me and everyone else at Adlandpro know.

The two most common arguments for GreenZap being a scam are that it operated out of a PO box at a grocery store (yes, it did) and that Damon Westmoreland is involved (yes, he is - he has personally answered my email).

First of all, if you have an online business, where do people contact you? At a PO box, or maybe at your home address? I'm sure you would not start your business out of a highrise office before you've made any money!! However, as your business grew, you would obviously not stay with the PO box!

Secondly, as I have stated above, I have still not been able to find one shred of real hard proof that Damon Westmoreland is a crook. If you find some, let me know.

It's really easy to bash someone endlessly in chatrooms and forums and endless links that few people ever follow; it's quite another to actually print the truth with the proof!

One example of a link that "proves" that one of the companies that Damon has been involved in, for example, is the BBB Reliability Report on ThePayline. Note that the report clearly states: "The Payline.com has had no complaints."

How is this supposed to be proof of fraudulent activity? And yet, the link is posted at TalkAboutTravel supposedly to back up their claims of fraud against Mr. Westmoreland!

If you go check out the BBB Reliability Report on GreenZap you will find that 35 of 36 complaints have been resolved. One was closed.

If you do your own due diligence on Greenzap, you're going to find the negative information, and a lot of it, too. As an enthusiastic, but thoroughly informed member, I'm not trying to hide it, and encourage you to check out all the links. I find it most refreshing, having worked with worldwide organizations in the past with CEOs and company presidents who have caved in and given up in the face of negativity and setbacks, but the people running Greenzap just keep on working harder and more enthusiastically than ever, because they KNOW how big this can be!

My personal experience to date with GreenZap has been excellent.

There was one
small mistake where their telemarketers got some member phone numbers mixed up and had the wrong people attached to requests for stock options. They were very quick to notice their mistake, emailed me before I could respond, and apologized for their mistake. I have the call from the telemarketers in my voice mail and can verify that they had me mixed up with someone else, just like they stated in their email, as the name they called me on my voice mail was not mine.

I replied to Damon's email to thank him for straightening it out, and received a courteous reply the very next day.

My personal opinion is that with Mr. Westmoreland doing their promoting (which he's very good at, indeed), Greenzap stands to be very successful. So, am I enthusiastic about Greenzap? You bet! I'm so enthusiastic that I'm a gold member with stock options. (That means I've put my money where my mouth is!) All business is risky, but this one stands to make its members very wealthy.

ZTC future developement plans include:

2. The same concept applies to our search engine program, we intend to level the playing field and make it easy for small businesses like yours to compete with the corperate giants. I hate goining to a paid search program and finding that the only way I can get hits is by trying to outbid Phiser, Ford, or Fisher Price. Our search engine will use a rotator system, and only offer a flat per click price, with the ability to choose plans that suit your size and budget.
3. Subscrition based internet business radio. As our team grows and income meets the demand, we will be purchasing full distrabution rights to software that will allow online business people to generate radio feed training for their clients and prospects. The feeds will be available 24 hours a day in a planed format, free to all, but every free user will have the option to subscribe to a group of feeds, and access all of the back issues for those feeds. this feature would allow you to access live audio training when you need it. The revenues from the subscriptions, minus a small admin fee, go to the authors, but where the real open opportunity will lie is in the advertising affiliate program, all affiliates who send online businesses to the site to purchase and develope advertisments, that will play during intermeissions, buy banner ads that will rotate on millions of desktops, or text ads that will appear around the site, will get a whopping 25-50% of those revenues.
4. Our own, online business friendly payment processor. As a program admin, I am tired of being told by PayPal etc.. that because my business, is not thier choice of business, I am up a creek. Such is the way with PMT, right now, they have agreed to hear my request, but we will have to launch without Pay Pal as they somehow think safelist and MLM are the same thing???
5. Online secure auctions and webstores. Our goal is to creat a small business platform to reach millions, and auctions like E-Bay are hot, but again high cost and an overwhelming trend on attracting high dollar ads, put a squeeze on mom and pop shops.

Once te rest of the programs are online, we will be looking into purchasing our own ISP. Our plan is to offer a internet access program that will reward users for visiting our sites and offers. The search feed will be to our own engine, the home page links will include easy access to the other programs, and each user will be traked for the traffic they create. The monthly bill, will start out low, and be reduced, based on how many sites they visit in a month.

Imagine, you sign up for unlimited access for under 25.00 a month, you visit 3,000 sites that month and next months bill is only 18.00 for high speed internet, the month after you visit 5,000 sites and your bill drops to 14.00, 10,000 sites and you don't pay a dime. Folks, I visit over 250 sites a day myself. This system will generate the most active web experience alive, and send millions of visitors to any offers in the system and because we are gear for small business, Mom and Pop can retire early.

I know, I have been long winded. Lisa asked me to tel you about our business, and our goals. This is a plan and a dream I have spent ovber 2 years and thousands of dollars to develope. Hello everyone my name is Bo Tipton .When I was asked to write what Right Road is all about, I realized that it is not easy. Why because Right Road is not a company but a group of people working together to help each other to succeed on the Internet.
Maybe it would be easier to start with, what Right Road is not. We are not a free moneymaking opportunity. Right Road was not started as a moneymaking opportunity. The whole organization was set up to help others learn what it takes to achieve their goals and dreams. Now yes someone can make money while going through this program and for some of those who apply themselves it will be more then they have ever made before. Having said that making money is not Right Roads main purpose, it is a byproduct of our main purpose.
The main purpose is to help others learn time proven techniques from successful marketers so that the can market any good product or program they want to on the Internet while helping others do the same.Right Road is not a free program. If we told you this is free, we would be lying to you. This program is not free and never will be but you do not have to pay money to join. This program cost something more precious then money, it cost time. Money you can always replace but time you cannot. This program will cost time and effort. How much time will it take? It does not matter if you have 10 hours a week or 80 hours a week it will fit into their schedule.
Right Road is not magic program you can join or magic button that you can click that will make you money automatically. Most people have found out that a program that works automatically while you sleep does not exist. I don’t care what you hear or read. It is not going to happen. Well then, what is it about?
